Which languages does the Project SCIM software support ?
Answer: The Project SCIM software supports any language
that your computer supports. If you have the fonts on your
computer for any language, they will be displayed in your chat window.
If the computer you are using is incapable of using a particular
character set, then the Project SCIM software will also be incapable of
displaying the language.
This could be an issue, for example, if you using a computer in an internet
cafe in Australia which does not have the Japanese character set but you
wish to communicate in Japanese.
The Project SCIM software was able to display all European
languages, Russian, Hebrew and Arabic with no extra work required by
you.
A version with built in Japanese, Korean, Thai and Chinese will
be available in a future release.
