There is nobody in my friends list. How do I make friends ?
Answer: When you start up the Project SCIM software you will see
the add friend shortcut icon (as seen on this page). Click this button and then type in the
username for your friend. Do this repeatedly with all your contacts
who you know have started using the Project SCIM software.
If you wish to send secure instant messages to a friend who
has not yet registered, you can use this form
to send them handy email instructions.
When your friend is added to your list (you will see their name listed in the main window)
you can start talking when you are both logged in. If you see their name listed as
"logged in" simply double-click on their username
and a secure chat window will open straight away.
When your secure chat window has opened, simply type your message into the text
box and click "submit" or hit the "return" key to send your message.
