Only one person in a conference needs a Enterprise Edition License; the software is written so that only the person with the EEL is able to start a conference;
The user with the SCIM Enterprise Edition License starts a chat session as normal (by double clicking a friend's username in
the list of online friends).
Once the chat session has started, the licensee clicks "Connection" then "Conference" which will bring SCIM into secure conferencing mode.
Once the program has entered conferencing mode, anyone in the conference can invite other Users in.
To invite other users to your conference, use the "Invite" button in your menu bar.
Within the "Invite" menu, you will see a list of all your friends who are online. Click on a friends username to invite them into your conferencing session.
Notes:
The ability to start a Conference won't
be available to Users without a license.
In order to conference you will need at least three online users.
Versions of the Project SCIM software prior to 1.5 are not able to start nor join conferences. Upgrade here
