How to Upgrade

There are several reasons why you might want to upgrade from a previous version of the ProjectSCIM software.

You can either download ProjectSCIM 1.04 in it's entirety and install this onto your computer or, if you are at least a little bit computer savvy, you can simply download the newer Java .jar file.

If you decide on the latter option, you will have to follow these steps:
  • Close the running version of the ProjectSCIM software.
  • Find the file called SCIM.jar on your local hard disk. On Microsoft platforms this file will normally be in "C:\Program Files\ProjectSCIM\SCIM.jar".
  • Save this file over the old SCIM.jar file.
  • You may be asked to confirm you want to overwrite the older file. Say yes, you do.
  • Start up the ProjectSCIM software as you normally would.
  • You're away!
