We are offering you the chance to chat online with anyone else on the internet - in completely secured privacy.

This is a lot more than standard instant messaging software - everything that is sent into and out of your computer using SCIM software is encrypted using the best contemporary encryption algorithms that are known - AES (Rijndael) and RSA.

When the SCIM client (your application) is started, you'll see a message saying "generating key pair". This message is letting you know that your program is generating a pair of encryption keys, a public key and a private key.

This key pair is very important - the public key is sent out to all your contacts when you first log in. Using a highly advanced encryption algorithm, everything sent to you by one of your contacts gets encrypted using this algorithm. The encrypted text is then completely secret - there is no feasible way anyone can figure out the message that was sent to you.

Once the message arrives to your computer, your SCIM software can then break through the encryption and figure out the message that was sent to you using the private key that only it knows.
